What is OGNBot

OGNBot is a program that runs constantly on the SRD webserver, doing automated page edits.

What does OGNBot do?

OGNBot currently performs the following edits:

• Attempts to fix broken links
• Changes relative and absolute links to be root-relative
• Tags pages with SRD Meta Tags
• Removes "back to top" links
• Removes widths and styles on tables, while attempting to correctly-format contents with an appropriate class.
• Removes div formatting in Section 15 divs

What else is planned?

• Removal of "style" tags from HTML
• Adding class tags to content where it is able to determine the content type - for example, monster stat blocks, character class progression tables.
• Hunt for and highlight terms we're not allowed to use - for example Paizo and other Third-Party IP that is not Open Game Content.
• Translate Section 15 blocks into entries in a cross-referenced database.
